Clayton Norris

Clayton Norris, CPA, CMA, MBA, ICD.D is the Vice President of Indigenous Services for MNP. Clayton has extensive experience in advisory services working with Indigenous Communities, providing accounting, tax, and consulting services. With team members across Canada, MNP Indigenous services have become one of the largest in North America, serving over two hundred fifty First Nation, Metis and Inuit Communities and Businesses.
Clayton is the team lead for a variety of projects with Indigenous Nations and businesses, including economic development, corporate finance, human resources, business plans, feasibility studies, valuation, project management, and financial advisory services.
Clayton played a key role in the development of MNPs EASE service, a remote bookkeeping and accounting service paired with a training and education platform. He also was a leader in the development of the Aboriginal Self Employment and Management Training programs, customized training designed to develop business and entrepreneurial skills for Indigenous entrepreneurs and management.
As a member of the AFOA Alberta Board in 2005, Clayton was awarded the Deputy Minister’s Pride and Recognition award for Excellence in Leadership. He was a member of the 2008 Governor General Leadership Conference and has continued executive education courses with the University of Arizona and Harvard Business School.
Clayton is on the Board of Directors at MNP and serves as a volunteer for the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. He is a proud member of Cold Lake First Nations.
