b'CALGARY STAMPEDE 2025 REPORT TO THE COMMUNITY45Partners & SponsorsStampede 2025 was our most successful in Stampede history, and we could not have achieved a successful 2025 alone. Thank you to our partners for their continued support, dedication and belief in our organization.A Special Thank You to Our Government PartnersThe City of CalgaryThe City of Calgary is a long-time partner of the Calgary Stampede. Along with providing our 100-year lease and support of our credit facilities, collaboration enables outreach year-round within the community to enhance and further civic activities. Various initiatives at Stampede Park and elsewhere engage residents and guests, contributing to the cultural, social and economic well-being of Calgarians. The City provided one-third of the funding for the expansion of the BMO Centre, which is being recognized and setting a new standard in becoming the largest convention facility in Western Canada. The Government of AlbertaThe Government of Alberta, through Alberta Arts, Culture and Status of Women, supported several programs and facilities through an operating grant agreement of $6.055 million. These funds provided new opportunities for youth to showcase their skills in veterinary science and robotics, along with providing a shared experience for 1.47 million guests from Canada and around the globe at the annual celebration through iconic experiences, including the Stampede Parade, the Art Show in the Western Oasis, and Indigenous culture in Elbow River Camp and at the Stampede Powwow. Further, the investment enabled more than 3,000 volunteers to contribute their time and talent to build community year-round through initiatives such as Aggie Days and Stampede 101, and to specifically direct $250,000 to replace boilers in GMC Stadium and the east section roof of The Big Four Building, maintaining these public assets and ensuring the safety of guests. The Province funded one-third of the BMO Centre Expansion Project. Final construction provided what is now a tier-one conference facility with the opportunity to host 327 events, to attract 47 first-time conferences to Calgary in 2025 and to continue to place Alberta on the world stage. The Government of CanadaThe Government of Canada provided support for youth employment via the Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) program, totalling $9,334.The contribution by Infrastructure Canada of one-third matching funds to the $500 million expansion of the BMO Centre supported the completion to double the capacity. The award-winning space welcomed thousands of guests, including more than 15,000 delegates from 140 countries who attended the 2025 Rotary International Convention.'
